Kenyatta Bynoe is an accomplished Marketing Executive with a 20-year career that encompasses increasingly demanding leadership roles based on consistent gains in revenue, profit and share. With a solid history engineering innovative, 360-degree marketing campaigns, she is as much at home delivering campaigns across advertising, media, digital/social, PR, and experiential disciplines. Her successes include developing marketing strategies that elevate brand equity on shoestring to multi-million dollar budgets by empowering teams to perform at the highest levels. Additionally, she is known for brining game-changing perspectives to the table as a thought leader as well as developing branded entertainment partnerships across key lifestyle platforms.
As VP of Global Brand Marketing and Partnerships at Spalding, Kenyatta has made key contributions serving in executive roles for this sporting goods manufacturer. She holds direct accountability for pioneering a global marketing strategy, campaign execution and e-commerce across all marketing communication touch points. She also oversees the brand partnership with the NBA as their official basketball and backboard. Her successes include building and leading a talented team, exploding digital and social media engagement and boosting NBA association and brand favorability.
Previously, Kenyatta served as a Senior Brand Advertising Manager for Jeep/Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. This role challenged her to lead 360-degree communications strategy and execution for the Jeep brand. Accordingly, she designed cutting-edge lifestyle, sports, music, cause, and entertainment marketing initiatives. She attracted new consumers by broadening the focus on digital/social media and branded entertainment.
Prior to this, Kenyatta was recruited by Microsoft as Senior Lifestyle Marketing Manager to raise awareness, engagement, and trial of Windows portfolio of software, services, and devices among millennials. She engaged targeted segments and influencers across sports, fashion and music lifestyle platforms leading to unprecedented brand partnerships that bridged Windows technology and consumer passion points.
Her early career was in the automotive industry in marketing and customer relations roles for Volkswagen of America, Jaguar Cars, Porsche Cars North America and EDS –Chevrolet Motor Division. She also completed the Leadership Development Program at American Honda Motor Company.
Kenyatta launched her career upon obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from Central Michigan University. She went on to earn her Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Eastern Michigan University. Residing in Nashville, TN, Kenyatta enjoys mentoring, music, sporting events, traveling and culinary arts.
