After years spent in theatrical marketing, including more than a decade at 20th Century Fox as SVP, Rita made the leap to digital and swears by it as the best professional move of her career.
At Yahoo, Rita led the marketing partnerships and branded entertainment teams, responsible for building content platforms that can be monetized to drive incremental ad revenue, support initiatives across Yahoo’s comms & media products (including Yahoo Sports, Search, lifestyle verticals), and managing Yahoo’s influencer program.
In June 2016, she launched Yahoo Storytellers, an end-to-end custom content studio providing brands a single source solution for data-led content marketing strategies. Informed by Yahoo's 165B daily data signals, Rita leads a team of creators and custom program managers to produce premium video and editorial content distributed across the Yahoo ecosystem. To round out its content solution, Yahoo Storytellers also provides data-led influencer activation across all social platforms, content consulting and curriculum-based workshops and partnership extensions that allow brands to create customized experiences on and off Yahoo.
Rita is a proud immigrant who came to the US as a refugee from the Ukraine. She grew up in Los Angeles, where she attended the University of Southern CA (Fight On Trojans!), earning a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
