Program Overview

The perfect course for junior-level employees, AdU gives a broad introduction to the various departments within an advertising agency.  The program has also been expanded to include a class on the rapidly expanding interactive realm of the industry.

We provide this training in an environment that is based on practical knowledge and taught by professionals who hold senior management positions at various companies throughout the industry.

Potential Students
 
This course is appropriate for entry-level agency employees and also entry-level sales employees seeking a broader understanding of the agency and how its various departments work in collaboration.

Program Curriculum
      
      Account Planning
         Planning is about enshrining the consumer and is at the heart of the
         creative and strategic process.
 
      Creative
         Creative is the vehicle to deliver a product's message.  It's even
         more important to create breakthrough work in an increasingly
         cluttered environment.
 
      Media
         Media is no longer just numbers and profiles, but a creative discipline in
         itself.  Every place and every thing is a potential media opportunity.
 
      Multi-Cultural Marketing
         Multi-cultural marketing helps a brand identify with specific consumer
         groups.  Communications may be translated to foregin languages or
         modified to appeal to local cultures and customs.
 
      Account Management
         Account management is the liason between the agency and the client. 
         It takes strong business acumen and strategic focus to be done well.
 
      Integrated Marketing
         Integrated marketing communications is no longer optional in today's
         busy, cluttered world.  The key to getting through is a unified message 
         across multiple, variable channels.
 
      Direct Marketing
         Direct marketing builds personal brand relationships.  After waning in the
         90's, it is making a comeback in brand communications strategy.
 
      Interactive
         Interactive is no longer the "hot" new medium.  It is part of your
         everyday life experience and absolutely mandatory for long-term brand
         survival.
