The Advertising Industry Emergency Fund's (AIEF) 27th Annual November Fundraiser. Format is a luncheon and presentation of the 2008 Lifesaver Award.

Each year, the Advertising Industry Emergency Fund bestows the Lifesaver Award to an individual for his or her outstanding devotion to the charity and its mission. This tradition began in 1982, ten years after Dennis Holt and George Green established the AIEF as a resource for those who work in the greater Los Angeles advertising community and are facing life crises, usually due to catastrophic illness or injury. Over the past 26 years, the Lifesaver Award has been presented to well deserving people who have gone to great lengths to support the AIEF. Such recipients have devoted their time and unfailing support to help raise awareness and funds that allow the AIEF to continue to aid our colleagues in need.

The 2008 Lifesaver Award honors two such individuals, Paul Ratzky and Tim Hand of thinkLA to acknowledge their exceptional work on behalf of the charity over the past several years. The AIEF Board of Directors extends heartfelt congratulations to Paul and Tim, who will be honored on Friday, November 21^st at the 2008 November Fundraiser, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
