VP, Exec Creative Director
David began as the ECD at Kohler Company in January 2016 where he will be responsible for developing and executing omni-channel creative and advertising solutions for the complete Kohler global portfolio of 27 brands including Kohler, Ann Sacks Tile, Baker Furniture, Kohler Power (small engines and generators) as well as Kohler's resorts and golf courses.
Prior to joining Kohler David was SVP, Group Creative Director at GSD&M for over 25 years. He was responsible for the work on Southwest Airlines, BMW, Land Rover, American Legacy, Norwegian Cruise Line, RC Cola, Don't Mess With Texas, Rock the Vote, Krispy Kreme, Lennox Heating & Cooling, Rolling Stone, Americans for the Arts, Texas Monthly and Pennzoil during his time there.
Before joining GSD&M, David spent six years at McKinney & Silver in Raleigh NC.
David's work has been recognized by The One Show, Communication Arts, The National ANDYs, Cannes, the Effie's, Archive and the Kelly Awards. He's been named a "Creative All-Star" by Adweek and is honored to have judged The One Show, The Art Directors Club, The National Addy's, The Effie's and The Kelly Awards several times.
David attended Western Carolina University graduating Cum Laude with a BFA degree in Graphic Design.
