VP, Brand & Customer Experience CSAA
As the lead authority and promoter of our brand, John ensures consistent brand expression across CSAA Insurance Group. John focuses on all aspects of Brand Marketing, including brand strategy; brand health and governance; creative and advertising; research and consumer insights; and product development. He also leads the vision, strategy and execution of the company's efforts to create a "Perfect Customer Experience."
Prior to joining CSAA, John spent six years at Farmers Insurance, where he was Head of Brand and updated the company's brand strategy and lead the development of the successful "University of Farmers" advertising campaign. Prior to that role, John had senior executive roles in marketing and sales at 21st Century Insurance, InsWeb Corporation, and Countrywide Financial.
John started his career as an associate corporate law attorney in downtown Los Angeles, specializing in corporate law, including mergers & acquisitions and corporate financing. He is the founding (and only) member of the Attorney-Turned Ad Guy Club.
He has a BA in English from UC Berkeley and his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from UCLA.
