Phil Hruska is manager of media strategy for the Honda and Acura Divisions for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. In this role, Hruska oversees the development and implementation of vehicle line marketing strategies and media plans for both Honda and Acura Divisions.
Hruska is responsible for the facilitating of internal communications as well as management of the media team in executing: budget control, media planning, billing processing, and all other general media activities. Also included in his duties are management of media agencies, ROI and aligning media strategies and tactics with brand objectives and overall marketing objectives and strategies.
Prior to joining Honda, from 2007-2013, Hruska served as media manager for Carl's Jr., where he oversaw and implemented all aspects of national media including television, radio, digital, outdoor, print, and sponsorships.
Earlier, Hruska was with Carat USA where he served as planning supervisor for Kia Dealer Marketing Groups. Additional clients have included Carrows Restaurants, Idaho Potato Commission, Triumph Motorcycles, California Raisin Marketing Board and Round Table Pizza.
Hruska earned a bachelor's degree in science with a concentration in business administration from California State University Northridge.
