We asked one of our panelists about the concept of inclusion in the media world. His response? “What we build internally is reflective in our output.”

In theory, it’s simple. In practice, we as professionals in the industry understand that it’s simply not.

How does a media company build an internal culture of diversity, equity and inclusion? How does that translate to output in marketing strategy? What does it look like for your tactical approach to be separate but equal?

The seventh YoungStars panel, proudly presented by ThinkLA’s DIG Committee, will delve into the less-than-obvious answers to seemingly obvious questions. As an industry, we are good at asking questions (loudly). In this DIG panel, we shine the light on thinkers and doers of today’s activist generation to hear how they each have answered those questions, and the personal journeys that helped them get there.

YoungStars is ThinkLA's quarterly panel discussion and mixer with diverse thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and influencers, all under the age of 35, in the Los Angeles media, tech, and advertising industries.
