Head of Agency Business Development
Patrick Grandinetti helps to lead Google’s US Agency Business Development team where he focuses on helping agencies and their clients transform their businesses through best-in- class digital strategies. Nearing his tenth anniversary at Google, Patrick brings nearly twenty years of marketing and strategy development experience to his current role, having worked closely with some of the world's largest clients including Procter & Gamble, Unilever, General Mills and RE/MAX and agencies including UM, Initiative, BBDO, Horizon Media and OMD.
Prior to his current role at Google, Patrick led two sales teams including a wireline telecom team working with clients including DIRECTV, CenturyLink and Cablevision and led Google’s real estate vertical team creating and executing digital strategies for clients including Century21, RE/MAX, Coldwell Banker and Zillow. Patrick joined Google in 2007 as a Senior Agency Lead where he partnered with agencies to develop their understanding of Google’s marketing solutions and excellence in digital marketing strategies. During this time, he collaborated with BBDO to develop and launch "The BBDO Digital Lab - powered by Google," a physical space within several global offices creative agency's network, where best-in- class digital training, brainstorming and client summits were held.
Prior to Google, Patrick was a VP, Management Supervisor at Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB and McCann Erickson, where he managed many well-respected global brands including Procter & Gamble's Old Spice, General Mills' Honey Nut, Frosted, and Apple Cinnamon Cheerios, Beck’s Beer, Goodyear Tires, Ameriprise Financial, the National Crime Prevention Council, Wild Turkey Bourbon, and Bushmills Whiskey.
Before his career in advertising, Patrick worked as a news writer and assignment editor for WPXI-TV, the local NBC affiliate in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He has been a member of The Advertising Club for over 15 years including a tenure as Young Professionals President. In 2003, he received a President’s Award for Excellence from the Club celebrating his contributions. Patrick earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a Certificate in Marketing from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and currently resides with his wife and two children in Hoboken, NJ.
