Caralene Robinson

Former CMO, Filmmaker


Caralene is a leading twenty-year marketing executive with experience driving business success across multiple categories. Most recently she was Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at VH1, a Viacom Company. Caralene’s former experience includes roles at Colgate-Palmolive, The Coca-Cola Company and Cox Enterprises. Ms. Robinson then relocated to the West Coast to launch the brand function at Boost Mobile, a division of Sprint.  In her final role at Sprint as Vice President of Brand Advertising, Ms. Robinson led marketing strategy and creative efforts for all Sprint brands including Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, Assurance Wireless.

Through her work with brands and stellar agencies, Caralene curated a passion for the creative process. So in  2009 while working fulltime she co-founded Coffee Bluff Pictures. She executive produced the award winning fashion documentary Versailles '73: American Runway Revolution. CBP’s next project, Olympic Pride, American Prejudice, was nominated for a 2017 NAACP Image Award. Caralene recently wrapped production on The Bill, a comedic short she wrote, produced and directed.

Ms. Robinson has a Marketing BBA from Howard University and a double MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business. She is a graduate of the CTAM Executive Leadership program at Harvard University, and the NAMIC Executive Leadership Development program at the Darden School at UVA.
