Rebecca Daugherty is executive vice president, Marketing, ABC Entertainment and ABC Studios. In this role, she leads all teams in the development and execution of all primetime and daytime marketing campaigns across all platforms for The ABC Television Network, as well as ABC Studios shows globally. Daugherty was previously vice president, Dramas, Movies and Specials, within the creative arena of ABC Entertainment Marketing.
Daugherty was recently highlighted in The Hollywood Reporter’s “Hollywood’s Top Marketing Mavens of ‘17.” She has played an integral role in the launch and sustaining of campaigns for many successful programs, such as “Desperate Housewives,” “Scandal,” “Revenge,” “Once Upon a Time,” “How to Get Away with Murder,” “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Designated Survivor” and the No. 1 new drama, “The Good Doctor.” Daugherty and her team are responsible for the creation and execution of TGIT, one of network TV’s most successful brand campaigns, currently with over a billion Facebook impressions. She has won numerous Promax Gold Awards.
Prior to ABC, Daugherty worked at The Fox Television Network and numerous independent television stations in the areas of production, promotion and programming. She has directed live television programs and produced local news magazine features.
Daugherty holds a Bachelor of Science in mass communications from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. She has two daughters and resides with her husband in Arcadia, California. Outside of ABC, she is involved in several professional and student mentoring programs, profession panels and presents marketing seminars to colleges and student organizations.
