Mentorship Program
Fall Session Dates | Aug 15 – Dec 15
Spring 2020 Sign Up Form Coming Soon
(Submission of an application does not guarantee placement as a mentor in the program)
ThinkLA's mentorship program supports the new generation of leaders within our industry. We connect emerging, diverse talent with seasoned professionals that are passionate about giving back. Mentees are given the opportunity to be matched with a wide-array of Mentors across different talents, career paths, and more, to gain a deeper understanding of the ad industry’s business practices and culture, gain expertise, build a professional network, and design realistic goals.
Mentors and mentees are encouraged to meet informally and at ThinkLA events at least five times over the course of the program. After completing a brief questionnaire, matches will be made by the Mentorship Committee based on mutual experience and interest levels on the side of both mentor and mentee. At the completion of the five-month program, the mentee and mentor will have the opportunity to complete an evaluation on the program and provide feedback.
For mentees, we're looking for young professionals who:
- Are working within the media, marketing or advertising industry
- Are willing to initiate and maintain regular contact with their mentor
- Are serious about their personal and professional development
