For the 7th annual Women Are the C-Suite event, ThinkLA brought together over 200 attendees at the OMD offices to listen, network, and support one another. The engaging fireside chat with Emily Chang and Shelley Zalis brought intangible career and life experiences to light, speaking on the false idea of “imposter syndrome” and how to make “work/life balance” work for you, the way you want it to. The unique perspectives from each of the panelists (Grace Teng, Lisa Valentina, and Pamela Velarde, moderated by Abigail Bassett) allowed for genuine conversation around the “heartbeat moment”, when you realize that you are at a fork in the road that can pave the way for yours and others futures.
It was a night of inspiration, community, and laughter. ThinkLA looks forward to continuing to host this event in the coming years!
