DIG Discussion Standing Against AAPI Hate

-

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community has been experiencing racial violence across the world. In the last few months, violence has escalated dramatically. Yet, the incidents reported in the media are a mere fraction of those which have occurred.

At this DIG (Diversity, Inclusion, Gender) discussion on standing with the AAPI community, our industry panel had candid conversation about how these violent acts have affected them professionally and personally. Beginning with an open discussion of their personal experience and backgrounds, this hour-long webinar discussion provided attendees with a better understanding of how to be an ally for this community and to advocate to Stop AAPI Hate.

In addition, panelists discussed the importance of representation, the value of mentoring, and making your voice heard in a room where no one else looks like you.
